We’re looking for a technically strong and proactive 3rd Line Support Engineer with solid networking experience to join a thriving IT services team supporting schools across the UK. This is a great opportunity to use your technical expertise to make a real impact in the education sector.
What you’ll do:
* Act as the senior technical escalation point for 2nd and 3rd line incidents, with a strong focus on network‑related issues
* Configure, deploy, and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure across multi‑site school environments
* Lead IT projects from planning to implementation
* Deliver on‑site and remote technical support and contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing
What you’ll bring:
* Proven hands‑on experience configuring and supporting network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, wireless)
* Strong experience with Windows Server, AD, Hyper‑V, and Office365/Azure
* Excellent troubleshooting skills and confident decision‑making under pressure
* A customer‑first mindset with great communication skills
