We're looking for a dedicated driver to handle deliveries for our New Look contract, you'll be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods. This is a physically demanding role that requires manual handling.
1. £41,673.98 per annum
2. Start times between 14:00 – 16:00
3. Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday
4. 48 hour per week contract
5. Paid overtime
6. 28 days annual leave inclusive
7. If successful, for every driver that you refer, you can earn an impressive £1,000 (subject to conditions)
How will you contribute?
8. Delivering to a network of retail stores for our new customer New Look, unloading vehicles at delivery points
9. Collecting and logging returns
10. Completion of tachographs in line with legislation and company policies
11. Performing vehicle checks at the beginning and end of each journey and reporting all defects
12. Ensuring the vehicle and stock are properly always secured
13. Driving a Class 2 Vehicle in a safe manner, complying with all road traffic, and vehicle legislation
What will you bring?
14. Must have valid in date Class 2 licence
15. Must hold a valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (DCPC Card)
16. Must hold Digital Tachograph card
17. Must not have more than 6 points on licence
18. Must have minimum 12 months Class 2 driving experience
19. Previous Multidrop experience would be preferred and the use of handheld scanning devices
20. A general understanding of driver's hours legislation and working time directive
21. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
22. Time management skills and comfortable in working to deadlines
