Overview
An 9-year-old female in the HU4 area is looking for a Personal Assistant (PA) for 5 hours per week. She loves outdoor activities and visits city parks; taking her bike to the park is one of her favourite activities. When the weather is poorer, she enjoys swimming or crafting activities. She is cooperative and easygoing but lacks safety awareness, so the PA would need to implement safety measures. There is no personal care involved, but she will need reminders about using the toilet.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to access and participate in outdoor activities and visits to parks and outdoor spaces.
* Support the child to engage in activities such as cycling, swimming, and crafts while ensuring safety.
* Maintain safety and supervise the child; implement safety measures as needed due to limited safety awareness.
* Remind and assist with toilet use as required.
Requirements / Qualifications
* Relevant experience caring for children; ability to support active, outdoor-focused activities.
* Strong safety awareness and ability to implement safety measures.
* DBS check required; satisfactory checking report is essential. The cost of the DBS check will be met by the local authority/employer.
