Telephony Engineer – Digitalization of Data – Green Field Project – £55,000 + Benefits – Basildon / Essex (Hybrid)
Responsibilities
* Planning and implementing UC systems (VoIP, SIP, messaging), integrated with CRM.
* Monitoring system performance, applying updates, supporting upgrades.
* Integrating UC tools with Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and CRM — driving continuous improvement.
* Managing vendors, licenses, and technical escalations.
* Maintaining documentation (CMDB), supporting user training and adoption.
* Ensuring telecoms systems are well-configured, up to date, and running seamlessly for reliable communication across the organization and with external partners.
* Contributing to data capture of carbon and cost savings to provide actionable insights for sustainability goals.
Skills & Qualifications
* AWS Telephony / AWS Connect experience, and knowledge of Gamma Inbound.
* Strong knowledge and experience in Teams UCX.
* Experience with Meta/WhatsApp and SMS principles.
