Overview
Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
1. Partner with first-line business units to support effective risk identification, assessment, mitigation, and monitoring activities.
2. Provide oversight and challenge on first-line risk management processes, controls, and decision-making across operational, financial, conduct, and insurance risk areas.
3. Support the enhancement and execution of the company’s risk management framework, ensuring it is effectively applied in day-to-day operations
4. Lead risk and control self-assessments (RCSAs), develop risk assessments, and conduct risk appetite monitoring with first-line stakeholders.
Qualifications required:
5. Achieved or working towards a relevant risk-related qualification from an appropriate accredited body
Experience required:
6. Experience and knowledge of working in financial services, preferably in an insurance company
7. Strategic and critical thinking
8. Risk and control mindset
