In this crucial role, you'll carry out repair, maintenance, and upgrade work on wood pole overhead line network, operating at voltages up to 33kV. You'll help ensure a safe, consistent, and high-performing electricity supply for customers.
What we require from you
* NVQ Level 2 / City & Guilds or equivalent qualification
* Current HV/LV/Limited Authorisation (SPEN, ENW, or other DNOs)
* Skilled in working safely at height
* Practical experience with MEWPs, winches, tracked plant, and lifting equipment
* Qualified in pole top rescue procedures
* Solid grasp of safety protocols related to overhead line operations
* Comfortable working under safety documentation as part of a team
* Understanding of environmental and quality standards
* Valid UK driving licence (HGV is a strong advantage)
* Confident with off-road driving and challenging environments
* Strong communicator with a focus on customer service
* Capable of completing accurate work reports and documentation
* Basic IT literacy
