Logistics Controller
£28,000 + very generous bonus, pension and benefits (28 days annual leave + BH)
Our client is a well-established, dynamic and highly profitable supplier of technology products and services to an impressive, international customer base.
They seek to appoint a new member to the Logistics Team – the role will be varied and will suit someone who likes to be busy, is able to multitask and who takes a pro-active approach to work.
The role will give access to leading edge technologies. You will, ideally, have experience utilising an online inventory system, will be self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
Duties:
Your duties as a Logistics Controller will include:
* and booking in goods and accessories
* stock to Projects
* with the Engineering and Project teams to ensure goods are available for delivery to end customer and internal staff for Demonstrations and Exhibitions
* for goods to be returned to manufacturer for repair/replacement
* goods in and out are re-conditioned and fit for delivery
* quickly and efficiently to deadlines and being accountable and responsible
* role will include lifting and the candidate will need to meet the physical demands of a busy store.
* slow moving stock and reassign locations to meet actual stock movement demands
* courier collections
* in stock counts
* stock discrepancies
* driving company vehicle for collections & deliveries
Skills:
* Control Required
* level of numeracy and accuracy
* to work on own initiative
* to work under pressure and at a fast pace
* to update computer records
* of SAGE 200 or similar software
* to use Microsoft Office tools
* driving license
Hours:
Office environment 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday
Salary dependant on experience
