An exciting opportunity to work as part of a friendly team supporting our global sales and marketing efforts in the areas of Academic and Professional publishing. We are looking for a new Sales Operations Administrator who is a self‑starter and excited by the entrepreneurial nature of Bloomsbury Publishing. The goal is to develop and implement strategies that ensure operational efficiency across the Bloomsbury Digital Resources and Professional sales and marketing teams, and to provide support to the management team via sales reporting and analysis. The role will work across Bloomsbury Professional and Digital Resources, working closely with and reporting into the Associate Sales Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
* Provide administrative support for the Associate Sales Operations Manager
* Creation and distribution of weekly and monthly sales reports
* Point of contact with third‑party invoicing partner, filtering and distributing queries
* Beta testing new processes and systems
* Creation of trial products and Dashboard maintenance in Salesforce
* Tracking and reporting of a broad range of sales data and Key Performance Indicators
* Sales support as needed
* Overseeing internal inboxes, circulating useful information to the sales teams
* Systems used: Salesforce, Excel, Tableau, Biblio, Outlook, among others.
Qualifications
* A confident, creative, collaborative person with excellent communication, analytical, and organisational skills
* A self‑starter with a proven ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prioritise workload
* Strong IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word and Teams
* Experience using Salesforce and Tableau would be helpful but not essential

Position Details
The role is a full‑time, permanent position with a salary range of £28,000 – £30,700. It is based at our Oxford office, Kemp House, Chawley Park, Cumnor Hill, Oxford OX2 9PH on a hybrid‑working pattern of 2 days office‑based / 3 days home‑based (or fully office‑based if preferred). Allocated office days for this role are Wednesday and Thursday.
