What You’ll Do
As aReceptionist, you will:
* Provide a warm welcometo all guests, ensuring a professional and positive first impression.
* Handle and relay messages via phone, email or face to face, ensuring all communications are passed to the relevant departments.
* Check guests in on arrival, delivering 5-star customer service from the moment
* Liaise with internal departmentsto ensure guest needs are met quickly and efficiently
* Monitor visitor access and maintain security awarenessfor the safety of our guests and colleagues
* Support with general administrative duties, including paperwork, reporting and front-of-house organisation
* Deal with complaints professionally, escalating where appropriate to ensure a swift resolution
* Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception areaand ensure office supplies are stocked
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for a friendly and proactive team player who brings:
* At least 2 years experiencein a customer-facing or customer service role
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Strong customer care instincts, with a calm and efficient approach to problem-solving
* Great attention to detailand the ability to juggle multiple tasks
* Confidence using Microsoft Office and booking systems
* A flexible attitudeto working weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota
* Initiative and professionalism, with a helpful attitude at all times
