· Is responsible for the hotel's preventive maintenance programme
· Is a self starter, and can manage their own time
· Works with Housekeeping team to ensure all rooms are guest ready
· Coordinates and implements regulatory procedures and audits (safety of people and property etc.)
· Is service minded
· Actively contributes to guests' comfort through swift and appropriate intervention
· Makes sure that fire security installations are in good working order
· Runs regular checks on technical equipment to prevent any problems
· Implements corrective action plans
· Prepares and tracks the action plans instigated by the Safety Commission and audit authorities
· Checks application of water hygiene procedures & Legionella management controls
· Advises the General Manager when specialist intervention is required
· Insure the evolution of thier knowledge and the safety of their interventions
· Management of Fire Safety RA/Policies & training
· Employee inductions
· Monitoring of gas, electric and water consumptions
· Handles relations with sub-contractors
· Tracks and optimises energy consumption
· Works with Housekeeping team to ensure all rooms are guest ready
