Pixieland Nurseries is looking for an apprentice early years educator at our Saltash Nursery, to fit well within a friendly team and learn skills on the job while supporting children’s play, learning and development. This role will be supported by your team and an early years course to ensure you reach your qualification confidently and professionally. We are looking for a professional attitude, with a sense of fun and excitement, so children can thrive within our nursery family environment.
Duties
* Caring for children
* Preparing and maintaining environments to meet children’s needs

To become an apprentice you must
* Be 16 or over
* Not already be in full‑time education
As an apprentice you will
* Complete a Level 3 early years educator apprenticeship standard
* Have regular one‑to‑one sessions with a dedicated trainer, either remotely or through visits to your workplace
* Learn and train for a specific job
* Get paid and receive holiday leave
* Get hands‑on experience in a real job
* Study for at least 20% of your working hours
* Complete assessments during and at the end of your apprenticeship
* Be on a career path with lots of future potential
* Be entitled to a TOTUM membership (membership details not provided here)

Qualifications required
Must hold a Level 2 Child Care qualification; functional skills can be completed alongside the apprenticeship.
