Sous Chef

Luxury Lifestyle Hotel

Central London

£47,000 to £50,000 including Tronc

An outstanding opportunity for a talented Sous Chef to join one of London's most creative and culturally relevant lifestyle hotels.

This is a senior kitchen role within a high-performing brigade, supporting the day-to-day operation of a large production kitchen delivering food across multiple outlets.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef and Head Chef in a fast-paced environment known for quality, innovation and exceptional guest experiences.

The Role

As Sous Chef, you will play a key role in the leadership of the kitchen, helping to oversee service, maintain standards and develop the team.

You will support food production across restaurants, bars, rooftop dining, room service and events, including high-profile pop-ups and guest chef collaborations.

Key responsibilities include:

* Supporting the management and development of a large brigade of chefs
* Overseeing food production across multiple outlets
* Assisting with stock control, ordering and supplier relationships
* Monitoring food costs and helping maintain budgets
* Working with the Executive Chef and Head Chef on menu development and seasonal dishes
* Ensuring consistently high standards of food quality and presentation
* Maintaining HACCP, food safety and health and safety standards
* Training and mentoring junior chefs

What We Are Looking For

* Current Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef ready to step up
* Experience in a luxury lifestyle hotel or high-quality restaurant group with multiple outlets
* Proven ability to lead and motivate kitchen teams
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Calm and effective under pressure
* Good commercial awareness and food cost understanding
* Passion for delivering exceptional food and guest experiences
* Interest in current culinary trends and the London dining scene

The Package

* £47,000 to £50,000 including Tronc
* 45 hours per week
* Five days per week
* 28 days holiday, increasing with length of service
