This role is ideal for a solicitor with a passion for agriculture and rural affairs, offering the opportunity to work alongside legal experts trusted by generations of farmers, landowners, and landed estates. Day-to-day of the role: Act for farming families, estates, and agri-businesses, focusing on property aspects related to estate planning, succession, and restructuring, as well as farm sales and purchases. Handle estate management and agricultural tenancy issues, including AHA and FBT matters. Support rural diversification and commercial ventures on agricultural land. Build and maintain relationships with longstanding clients through clear, practical, and timely advice. Collaborate within a team that includes recognised leaders in the agricultural sector. Required Skills & Qualifications: Qualified solicitor with 3 years PQE in non-contentious rural/agricultural property work. Strong experience in handling complex rural transactions. Excellent client communication skills, with a focus on providing empathetic and clear advice. Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.
