Recruit4staff are representing a well-established public sector organisation in their search for a Fleet Mechanic HGV and LGV to work in Colwyn Bay Job Details: • Pay: £16.37 per hour • Hours of Work: 7am - 3pm and 10am - 6pm alternately, from Monday to Friday • Duration: Temporary (26 weeks) Job Role: The Fleet Mechanic HGV and LGV will support the maintenance and repair of a diverse fleet of motor vehicles including motor cars, minibuses, light goods vehicles and HGVs. The Fleet Mechanic HGV and LGV will attend breakdowns and repairs on a 24-hour shift and call-out basis. Responsibilities include testing and inspection to prepare vehicles for MOT testing, carrying out periodic maintenance, and assessing accident damage to vehicles, plant and equipment, advising on suitable methods of repair. This Fleet Mechanic HGV and LGV position requires strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to maintaining fleet safety and compliance.
