Role & Responsibilities
* Lead and support the maintenance team within a well-established organisation with multiple sites, providing progression opportunities into management.
* Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance to ensure high-quality equipment performance.
* Detect deviations in plant asset function and ensure safe, efficient routine maintenance through detailed work preparation with the area Engineer.
* Establish standard work plans for repetitive maintenance tasks and encourage standardisation.
* Inspect equipment and facilities to detect anomalies and provide support to Maintenance teams in diagnosis and problem solving.
* Ensure quality of external repair services, spare parts or equipment by inspection at supplier or on arrival at the warehouse.
* Coordinate contractors and monitor the quality of their work.
* Utilise predictive maintenance techniques where appropriate for managing equipment and components.
* Review and analyse plant information (SAP, shift reports, alarms systems) and provide detailed work orders for safe and efficient maintenance execution.
* Keep asset documents and drawings up to date and organised, including online information.
* Support Engineering and Production teams with work plan preparation to achieve high efficiency and quality of maintenance groups.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Degree qualified or highly proactive and experienced in Maintenance/Team Leadership
* Strong mechanical knowledge and skills
* Knowledge of preventive maintenance programs and troubleshooting tools
* In-depth knowledge and experience with current plant equipment
* Knowledge of tools and techniques related to predictive and preventive maintenance
* Ability to develop and manage good working relationships with internal and external departments
* Ability to work under pressure and find solutions quickly
