Alternative Provision Learning Coach
Salary: Scale 5/6 £30,273.00 – £36,654.00
About the Role
As an Alternative Provision Learning Coach, your primary role will be to support learners across various groups, including those on the 14-19 provision pathways, fostering their academic, personal, and social development. You will assist during both structured sessions and unstructured times, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for engagement and growth.
We have 5 posts available on a Full Time Contract until July 2027, split between Rhondda and Ystrad Mynach Campus.

All staff employed at Coleg y Cymoedd have a responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of learners. All new starters must successfully complete the required preemployment checks before commencing employment, including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. For roles that involve direct interaction with learners, registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) is also mandatory.

Roles at Coleg y Cymoedd are campus‑based to support teaching, learner experience and service delivery.
