Role: Software Engineering Lead
Location: fully remote – UK residents only
Salary: circa £90,000 to £110,000 per annum, depending on experience and benefits

Responsibilities
* Lead the design and delivery of a cutting-edge product focused on improving network operations.
* Define technical architecture and coding standards to ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability.
* Mentor and manage a talented team of engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
* Drive product strategy in partnership with product managers and stakeholders.
* Continuously improve agile processes and development workflows.
* Manage technical debt and ensure robust quality assurance through automated testing.
* Research emerging technologies and integrate them into platform capabilities.
Qualifications & Skills
* 5+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
* Strong grasp of network autonomy concepts, business process management, and software architecture.
* Experience building SaaS products with a focus on user experience.
* Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g. Go, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript).
* Solid understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and cloud platforms.
* Excellent communication skills and a passion for mentoring others.
* Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) - DESIRABLE
* Background in product management or user-centred design - DESIRABLE
* Familiarity with performance optimisation and data modelling - DESIRABLE
