Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender’s act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

The Trust sponsors 30 academies; 17 secondary and 13 primaries across the North of England in fourteen Local Authority regions.The Grangefield Academy is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and passionate Teacher of Science to commence as soon as possible.
We are an Ofsted outstanding school with a fully resourced and planned science curriculum. We are proud of our supportive and successful science department where results continue to be among the best in our local authority. Last year, over 50% of our science students again achieved 2 science GCSEs grade 5 or above and 17% achieved two science GCSEs at grade 7 or above. All of our lessons are fully resourced with student booklets and minimising unnecessary staff workload is a priority.
