We are seeking an experienced and motivated Data Wrangler to work on a new Health Data Research UK Programme entitled Medicines in Acute and Chronic Care. You will be recruited for a period of 1 years and 9 months and will join us with expertise and technical skills to analyse and interpret health data for research. You will work predominantly on primary and secondary care data from electronic health records utilising a diverse range of data assets in the UK. The main focus of the research is to improve outcomes for patients by reducing adverse drug reactions, reducing errors in prescribing, identifying drug-drug interactions and increasing guideline compliance through a series of clinically informed, data-driven challenges. The role will be positioned with Professor Sir Munir Pirmohameds Research Group, a multi-disciplinary team of clinical, data and discovery scientists working in the field of Personalised Health and Medicine within the Institute of Systems, Molecular and Integrative Biology within the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics at the University of Liverpool. Professor Sir Munir Pirmohamed is the co-lead of this study at the University of Liverpool and the study is funded by Health Data Research UK.
