Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a female Personal Assistant to provide support to a Lady with mobility problems to remain independent. This role may include personal care and assistance with dressing and undressing, light domestic tasks, and meal preparation.
Responsibilities
* Support with dressing and undressing, which may include some personal care.
* Assist with light domestic tasks and meal preparation.
* Provide proactive, caring and patient support to help the client stay independent.
* Be comfortable working in the presence of dogs.
* Maintain clear and respectful communication with the client and family members.
Qualifications
* Previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to undertake a DBS check if required; employer will meet cost.
* UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle are required.
* Ability to work around lunchtime for 4.5 hours per week.
* Discretion and respect for client privacy and dignity.
Details
Hours: 4.5 hours per week around lunchtime. Hourly rate: £12.21; plus 5.6 weeks paid annual leave and workplace pension scheme.
