Feelz on Wheelz Mobile Youth Café, part of Area 43, is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated, and caring Youth Support Workers to join our dynamic team.
Reporting to the Dyfodol Ni Project Manager, you’ll play a key role in delivering support, signposting services, and creating a welcoming, safe space for young people in our mobile youth café.
What You’ll Do
* Provide information and support to young people at our mobile youth café, Feelz on Wheelz.
* Plan, design and lead engaging youth-led activities.
* Encourage youth voice and empowerment in shaping service delivery.
* Promote wellbeing through informal and structured support, including signposting to counselling and external services.
* Create social media content aimed at young people.
* Ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment at all times.
* Conduct community outreach and engagement.
* Operate the mobile café (includes setting up, food and drink prep, and maintaining hygiene standards).
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals with a genuine interest in youth wellbeing and development. You should have:
* Experience working with young people in a supportive environment.
* Patience, empathy, and a person-centred approach.
* Strong communication and listening skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a team.
* Flexibility to work shift patterns between 11:00am–7:30pm, Monday to Saturday.
* Confidence engaging both in-person and online.
* A proactive and creative attitude to activity planning and delivery.
Desirable but not essential:
* Ability to speak Welsh (or willingness to work toward Welsh language proficiency).
* A Level 3 qualification in Youth Work Practice (or willingness to work toward one).
* Experience creating social media content aimed at young people.
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence (clean)Enhanced DBS check (including Children’s Barred List).
* Willingness to register with the Education Workforce Council.
* Right to work in the UK.

* Pension contributions: 3% employer / 5% employee.
* 20 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays (pro rata).
