Duties
* Safely operate a delivery vehicle, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
* Load and unload goods, ensuring they are secure during transit.
* Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
* Communicate with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
* Provide exceptional customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries.
* Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and fuel consumption.
* Assist in warehouse duties as needed, including heavy lifting and inventory management.
Experience
* Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
* A valid driving licence is required; experience driving a vehicle is advantageous.
* Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is preferred.
* Experience in warehouse operations is beneficial, particularly in handling heavy lifting tasks.
