We are seeking an EHCP Caseworker to join a dedicated Study Support team in Winchester. This role involves managing and supporting a caseload of students with additional learning needs, ensuring they can fully access and benefit from our educational offerings. The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex needs and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) within an educational setting.

Day-to-day responsibilities
* Manage and support a caseload of students with additional learning needs to facilitate their access to learning.
* Attend school transition meetings and coordinate school/college visits as part of transition planning.
* Carry out college interviews, undertake assessments for exam access arrangements, and create bespoke individual support plans.
* Work closely with the Careers department to support students in accessing work experience and progression advice.
* Provide in-class support, note-taking services, and personal care as required.
* Attend and chair EHCP reviews, setting SMART termly targets and coordinating evidence collection.
* Provide ongoing advice and guidance to parents, teachers, and other college staff.
Required Skills & Qualifications
* A Level or equivalent qualification required; a degree is desirable.
* Proven experience working with students with complex needs and EHCPs.
* Strong understanding of EHCP legislation and the SEND Code of Practice.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a varied and demanding workload.
* Physical ability to undertake moving and handling requirements of the role, with appropriate training.
* Commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.
* Full driving licence.
