As a Senior Care Assistant at HC One, kindness will be at the core of everything you do. It touches upon every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them with their own stories. Joining us offers a wonderful opportunity to give back by planning and implementing care that provides residents with security, dignity, and independence.
You will get to know residents and their families, helping deliver personalized care plans. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you'll be responsible for maintaining high standards of care and influencing your team positively. Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, supporting end-of-life care, communicating with families, and providing mental and physical stimulation through social activities, as well as administering medication. Maintaining accurate records and building strong team relationships are key aspects of the role.
We are committed to inclusive practices and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. We aim for a quick onboarding process from offer to start date.
Ideally, you'll have completed a Level 2 Diploma in Adult Care and be working towards Level 3 or equivalent, with experience in person-centered care planning and dementia care. The essential qualities include positive energy, good record-keeping, effective time management, and genuine kindness in communication.
At HC One, kindness is more than a word; it is a core belief. Our team embodies five key qualities: curiosity, compassion, creativity, courage, and inclusivity. We prioritize safeguarding and expect all colleagues to recognize and respond to signs of abuse or neglect, attending relevant training and reporting concerns appropriately.
