Description SEN Placements Admissions Assistant | 8107 | permanent contract | 37 hours per week | £24,790 to £25,183 per annum | Grade D | Norwich – hybrid working An opportunity has arisen to work in a key education service as part of the SEND Specialist Provision and Funding Placements Team. The team actively supports the administration of placing and funding those children and young people with Education Health and Care Plans. As Admissions Assistant, your work will include: Compilation and distribution of complex agendas which enable the consultation process with schools to operate effectively and efficiently. Complex diary management in the arrangement of multiple complex admissions decision-making forums between key local authority officers and the school system overcoming conflicts and enabling alignment with statutory deadlines. Maintaining confidential records and an efficient document sharing facility which enables the effective and efficient consultation process to be enacted and which complies with regulations in the sharing of personal and sensitive child level information (i.e. GDPR). Minute taking arising from admissions panels and other decision-making forums which captures complex information succinctly and reflects regulatory requirements. Administrate the timely communication of admissions decisions to internal teams, schools and families. Provide support to and complete delegated tasks from the SEND & AP Admissions Officers / Coordinator. Ensure excellent safeguarding practice in the service which actively promotes the safety and welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults in line with service policy and procedure.
