Residential Children Support Worker Role - Rotherham

We are currently seeking a Residential Children Support Worker to join our team in Rotherham.
Requirements:
* Minimum 6 months of experience as a Residential Children Support Worker in a residential setting within the last 3 years.
* Own car and a full driving license in the UK.
* Must possess an updated DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) certificate.
* Individuals who have resided outside the UK for more than 6 months within the last 5 years should provide a valid Police Clearance certificate.
Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive care and support to children in a residential setting.
* Promote a safe and nurturing environment for children's physical, emotional, and social well-being.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
* Support children in daily activities, including personal care, education, and recreational pursuits.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation as per regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
* NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent qualification (desirable).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
* Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to the welfare of children.
* Understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
