You will have the opportunity to:
1. Offer assessments for children, young people, and families.
2. Create formulations to aid understanding of the child's needs.
3. Utilise evidence-based, goal-focused, and effective interventions that lead to a positive discharge from our service.
4. Provide individual, family, and group interventions, which may be time-limited or longer-term, according to need.
The successful candidates will have the necessary clinical skills and knowledge to complete clinical assessments, including sound clinical formulations and risk assessments. Experience in providing evidence-based mental health treatment interventions is essential.
Key elements of the job:
1. Provide a range of specialist CAMHS assessment and treatment interventions for children, young people, and their families or carers presenting with emotional and mental health difficulties.
2. Manage a caseload of children and young people with complex and high-risk mental health issues, serving as a Care Coordinator. This includes conducting specialist clinical assessments, formulations, and treatments, including Self-Harm assessments, with a focus on embedding the Voice of the Child within personalized care planning.
