School HR Assistant – Outwood Academy Carlton
* Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
* Contract: Full time, permanent
* Salary: £28,598 - £29,540 – SCP 12-14
About The Role
We are currently seeking a professional, confident individual to join the academy as a HR Assistant. We welcome applications from individuals who are highly organised, dedicated, approachable, flexible and who display excellent communication and organisation skills. The role requires working at pace and the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure and with competing demands and deadlines.
The successful candidate will have exceptional administrative skills and relevant experience of working within an HR / Payroll environment. Supporting the Business Manager and wider academy in all aspects of HR, payroll and recruitment, you will be responsible for administering payroll functions as well as day‑to‑day enquiries in regards to HR processes, payroll and recruitment matters.
In addition, you will be responsible for monitoring and recording staff absence, organising and minute‑taking at meetings and administering the full recruitment process including pre‑employment checks for all new staff and processing daily vetting checks for supply staff.
