Launched in 2021 by a team of Emmy award winning innovators with previous experience in sports technology, Bolt6 is a start-up dedicated to improving the experience of sport for everyone. Our products help to improve fan engagement, officiating acceptance, and drive commercial performance for sports leagues and federations.
We use cutting-edge technology to do a variety of amazing things with cameras and other data sources (all in real-time in the cloud), including:
* Tracking the 3D position of vehicles in elite motorsport (e.g. NASCAR);
* Skeletal tracking of athletes in a number of top level sports;
* Providing the platform for sports federations to make critical officiating decisions using video and other data.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our team and take on a multifaceted role in Logistics and Business Administration.
The Logistics and Business Administration Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of Bolt6’s logistics, administrative functions, and internal support services. This position requires a highly adaptable and proactive individual who can manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities that evolve with the growth of the organisation. The role involves overseeing logistics, managing costs, organising internal events, and ensuring efficient office operations across all Bolt6 entities, including Bolt6 Inc (US) and Bolt6 Limited.
What you will do as a Logistics and Business Administration Manager at Bolt6
* Logistics Management:
o Coordinate freight, flights, and accommodation for staff involved in delivering sports events globally;
o Ensure logistical arrangements are cost-effective and meet the needs of the business;
o Research and understand the visa requirements in the countries we operate in and keeping detailed records of all visas held in the team.
* Cost Management:
o Develop and implement strategies to minimise costs while maintaining high-quality service delivery;
o Monitor and reduce expenditures related to logistics, office management, and other administrative functions.
* Budget Preparation for Bid Responses:
o Prepare detailed budgets for bid responses to new projects and opportunities.
* Event Organization:
o Plan and coordinate internal events, meetings, and other company activities;
o Ensure events are well-organised and contribute to team cohesion and morale.
* Office Management:
o Oversee the management of office spaces, ensuring they are well-maintained and conducive to productivity;
o Manage office supplies, equipment, and other resources efficiently.
* Cross-Company Coordination:
o Work across all Bolt6 entities, ensuring excellent administrative and support services;
o Adapt to the needs of different business units and provide tailored support as required.
* Managerial Responsibilities:
o Initially, manage the role without direct reports, leveraging operational staff when they are not on-site;
o As the organisation grows, adapt to increasing managerial responsibilities and potentially expand the team.
