The Role

We are on the lookout for a Head of Marketing Analytics to join our dynamic Digital Marketing team. In this pivotal role, you will lead marketing analytics for the PureGym Group across the UK, Denmark, Switzerland, and the US. Collaborating closely with channel marketing and commercial finance teams, you will track and analyze the effectiveness of all marketing activities—both digital and ATL—ensuring we invest wisely to maximize new member growth. You will also manage a talented Digital Marketing Analyst.
Your Key Responsibilities
* Track and report on marketing performance, collaborating with channel specialists to assess effectiveness against KPIs.
* Develop internal reporting capabilities, consolidating marketing data into a comprehensive suite of reports to guide investment decisions.
* Communicate complex marketing datasets to a diverse range of stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations.
* Produce weekly and monthly reports to share the performance of UK digital marketing activities with the wider business.
* Support channel teams in executing structured testing plans, defining hypotheses, and measuring success.
* Lead the implementation of MMM and MTA tools to enhance understanding of marketing performance.
* Innovate our marketing strategies by exploring new audience targeting methods, including leveraging first-party data.
* Collaborate with agency partners and in-house teams to enhance our marketing analytics capabilities.
* Monitor market trends using tools like Similarweb to track PureGym’s performance against competitors.
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience in a similar role or managing digital marketing campaigns.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data to inform digital strategy.
* Proficient in Google Analytics and other analytical tools.
* Skilled in preparing reports in Excel and using data visualization software like PowerBI, Looker Studio, or Tableau.
* Good understanding of digital channels, including PPC, SEO, programmatic display, and paid social.
* Commercially aware, using knowledge and experience to drive PureGym’s success.
* Able to build strong working relationships within PureGym and with agency partners.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
* Proactive in taking ownership of performance and meeting targets.
* Ambitious and driven, seeking a career in a fast-paced environment.
* Capable of managing multiple projects while maintaining composure.
