Are you passionate about education and child development? Do you have the skills, experience, and enthusiasm to help guide an independent primary school and nursery towards continued excellence?
St Joseph's, an independent primary school and nursery in the heart of Nottingham, is seeking dedicated and dynamic individuals to join our Board of Trustees. As a trustee, you will play a vital role in ensuring our strategic vision is realised, our values upheld, and our pupils given the best possible start in life.
About the Role:
As a trustee, you will:
Provide strategic oversight and direction
Help ensure robust governance and financial sustainability
Support our mission to provide outstanding early years and primary education
We welcome applications from all backgrounds, and we are especially interested in hearing from individuals with experience in one or more of the following areas:
Finance or accounting
Education or early years development
HR or legal services
Marketing or communications
Fundraising and development
Premises and facilities management
Commitment:
Approximately 4–6 meetings per year
Occasional school visits or involvement in specific projects
A term of three years, with the option for renewal
Trusteeship is a voluntary position, but the rewards are immeasurable—making a real difference in the lives of children and supporting a nurturing, ambitious learning environment.
