Care Assistant at HC-One – Stoke Bardolph
Hours: part-time and full-time available; full flexibility is required. Shifts include:
* 8am – 8pm, 38.5 hours per week
* 8pm – 8am, 38.5 hours per week
* 7am – 2.30pm, 24.5 hours per week
* 2.30pm – 10pm, 24.5 hours per week
Role focus: provide high-quality care in Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. You will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to support the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents, including personal care, hygiene, dressing, meals, and activities. Safeguarding and reporting responsibilities are essential to this role.
Responsibilities
* Assist residents with personal care activities (washing, hygiene, dressing) and meals
* Provide compassionate, respectful care that maintains dignity and individuality
* Support residents with mobility and use of aids where needed
* Offer emotional support and assist residents at end of life as appropriate
* Participate in activities within the care home to promote well-being
* Recognise safeguarding concerns, attend safeguarding training, and report any concerns with escalation if action is not taken
