Junior Reporting Analyst Chesterfield, UK Office based We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Reporting Function as a Junior Reporting Analyst. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career who enjoys working with data and wants to develop strong analytical and reporting skills within the healthcare sector. In this role, you'll help transform survey data into clear, meaningful outputs that support NHS service improvement, policy development, and patient experience initiatives. You'll work closely with experienced analysts and have the chance to contribute to large national programmes such as the NHS Staff Survey and CQC Patient Experience Surveys. Key Responsibilities Support the design and maintenance of reporting templates using Microsoft Excel Work with large datasets, ensuring accuracy and clear version control Help turn raw data into easy-to-understand charts, tables, and insights Produce reports that meet stakeholder needs and are clear, relevant, and user-friendly Carry out quality checks to ensure reporting outputs are accurate and consistent Prioritise and manage multiple reporting tasks with guidance from senior team members Contribute ideas to improve reporting processes and templates over time Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts) Interest in developing skills in data visualisation and reporting best practices Some experience with SQL or a willingness to learn Awareness of tools like Qlik Sense is a bonus, but not essential Ability to present data clearly and concisely Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy Good written and verbal communication skills A logical, analytical mindset and enthusiasm for problem-solving Experience creating or maintaining report templates is helpful but not required Why Join?
