1. Strong qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA)
2. Enjoys both working in the detail and taking a holistic view
3. Technical knowledge of IFRS, including cashflow reporting and treasury disclosures
4. Confident communicator with the gravitas to engage with senior leadership and external stakeholders
5. Highly organised, detail‑driven, and comfortable operating in a regulated, deadline‑driven environment
6. Interest in cash management, debt structures, FX and interest rate risk
7. Group treasury experience in a PLC environment desirable
8. Experience supporting refinancing and working with a range of banking counterparties desirable
Key Reponsibilties
9. Manages daily cash flow, forecasting, and short to medium term liquidity
10. Manage day‑to‑day intercompany funding and external bank account governance
11. Daily payment approvals in line with agreed segregation of duties
12. Cashflows for budget and three-year plan
13. Going concern and stress testing of facilities and covenants to ensure compliance is maintained
14. Facility management including banking relationships, facility drawdowns and covenant certificates
15. Maintain external bank relationships
16. Working capital optimisation
17. M&A support, including raising capital when necessary and integration
18. Monitors and mitigates financial risks, such as interest rate or currency fluctuations
19. Maintain and enhance treasury policies, controls, and delegated authorities
