Role: Accounts Assistant
Location: Paddock Wood, Kent
Contract: Full time, fully office based, permanent
Hours: Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm
Salary: From £24,000 per annum DOE
Our client is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join their small, friendly team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with previous experience in an accounts role. The successful candidate will be confident working with numbers, possess a strong eye for detail, and demonstrate a proactive, reliable approach.
Responsibilities include:
1. Posting and issuing invoices
2. Chasing outstanding payments
3. Processing supplier invoices and credit notes
4. Data entry
5. Producing reports
6. Providing general administrative support
Candidates must be located near Paddock Wood, Kent, to be considered. Due to the rural location of the office, own transport is essential.
Essential requirements:
7. Solid experience using Sage 50
8. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
