A globally recognised law firm is seeking a talented Associate to join its London-based Corporate & Finance team. The practice advises a wide range of clients—including private equity sponsors, alternative capital providers, corporates, and boards—on complex, cross-border transactions across the capital structure.
The team is known for its integrated approach to private credit, special situations, M&A, and capital markets, and regularly handles high-value deals involving hybrid instruments, strategic investments, and distressed assets.
Role Overview
This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated transactions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The successful candidate will support a broad mix of corporate finance matters, including private equity, debt and equity financings, and strategic M&A.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising on private equity investments, joint ventures, and public/private M&A
* Supporting debt and equity capital markets transactions, including structured and hybrid financings
* Drafting and negotiating transaction documents and managing deal execution
* Collaborating across offices and practice areas to deliver seamless service
* Engaging with clients and contributing to business development initiatives
Requirements
* Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 2–4 years PQE in corporate finance or a general banking & finance background
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
* Commercially minded with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
* Ability to thrive in a high-performance, international team
