An established company in the construction materials sector is seeking a proactive Health & Safety Coordinator to join their team. This role involves overseeing health and safety compliance across three sites in the North West, ensuring safe working practices and regulatory adherence.
Health & Safety Co-ordinator – The Job:
* Implement, monitor, and continuously improve health and safety policies and procedures
* Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments across multiple locations
* Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, producing detailed reports and recommendations
* Provide guidance and support to site teams on H&S matters and best practices
* Develop and deliver health and safety training programs for staff
* Maintain accurate records of inspections, incidents, and compliance documentation
* Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, industry standards, and company requirements
* Liaise with regulatory bodies, contractors, and stakeholders as required
* Promote a positive health and safety culture throughout all sites
* Participate in project planning to identify and mitigate health and safety risks proactively
Health & Safety Co-ordinator – The Person:
* Experience in a health and safety role, ideally within construction or manufacturing
* Ability to travel across multiple sites in the North West
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Relevant H&S qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent)#
Health & Safety Coordinator – The Package:
* Salary – £35k
* £3250 bonus P/A
