Menswear Designer Location : Manchester Up to £40,000 Benefits A growing fashion supplier is seeking a talented Menswear Designer to join their team. This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple menswear brands and retailers, driving concept-to-sample development, and collaborating closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams. Key Responsibilities You’ll work alongside an Account Manager to support a portfolio of partner retailers and brands, managing seasonal development from initial brief to sample review. Liaise directly with customers to discuss and produce briefs Attend customer meetings with the Account Manager Review seasonal brand requirements and translate them into actionable plans Request, review and check customer tech packs Create tech packs when required Produce range planners and development packs Create CADs and development documents according to customer specifications Brief suppliers and provide all required information for sample development and bulk production Follow the full sample process, maintaining regular communication with suppliers Review incoming samples with the Garment Tech team and Account Manager Present samples and consolidated comments to customers and suppliers Support the Account Manager in keeping the critical path on track Lead the design and development process from concept through to final technical packs Create seasonal direction, mood boards and overarching design themes Collaborate with the Tech team on specifications and measurements Develop range plans and brief the collection to the supply base Manage approvals and comments, taking the lead within internal reviews Help create sales books and lookbooks What they are looking for ( Must haves ) Recent experience as a Menswear Designer with a strong understand and handwriting of young high fashion Confident working with tech packs, CADs, and the full sample development cycle Strong understanding of product lifecycle, timelines, and critical paths Comfortable liaising with customers, suppliers, and internal teams ( strong communication skills ) A proactive, organised and collaborative approach Commutable to Manchester and eligible to work in the UK WHATS ON OFFER Competitive salary A varied design role spanning customer brands and an in-house label Opportunity to shape collections and lead creative direction Supportive team with strong development and progression potential Manchester-based studio with a dynamic and growing environment “We will endeavour to contact you within 48 hours of receiving your CV, however due to the nature of our business this may be delayed due to meetings, holidays and offsite visits.
