Overview
We’re looking for an Electrical Estimator to join a specialist division focused on control panels, site modifications, and installation projects within industrial and commercial environments.
This role centres around producing accurate estimates and tender submissions for a range of electrical works, including panel design and site-based installations. You’ll work closely with internal design and delivery teams to ensure solutions are commercially viable, technically sound, and aligned with client specifications.

Key Responsibilities
Produce accurate estimates and tender submissions for control panels and site-based electrical works
Compile component specifications and pricing in line with client requirements
Review and interpret technical specifications and drawings
Support the tender process alongside internal sales and design teams
Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain relevant cost information
Attend site visits and surveys where required during the tender stage
Ensure all estimates and documentation meet quality, safety, and company standards
Contribute to continuous improvement and efficiency within estimating processes
Maintain strong attention to detail to ensure commercial accuracy and margin protectionRequirements
Proven experience in electrical estimating (ideally within panel build, controls, or similar environments)
Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and installation practices
Experience producing tender submissions and cost breakdowns
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Commercial awareness with the ability to produce accurate and competitive estimates
Comfortable liaising with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders
Relevant electrical qualifications or background preferredAbout You

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 (flexible depending on experience)
35 days annual leave (including bank holidays), increasing to 38 days with service
Option to convert additional leave into pension contributions
