Our client isn’t your typical practice. Founded 15 years ago by Andy, an ACCA accountant with 30+ years’ experience, he has built its reputation on what really matters: good clients, good people, and doing things properly.
They serve ~500 SME clients, focusing on proactive advice and long-term relationships, not chasing volume or operating like a corporate machine. With steady growth, strong profits, and daily new client enquiries, they’re now looking for a Senior Manager / Client Manager to help lead the practice into its next chapter.
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership position, working closely with the owner to manage:

A friendly, settled team of trainees through to qualified accountants
*
Workflow, deadlines, and day-to-day practice operations
*
A portfolio of SME Ltd company clients
*
Review of statutory accounts, corporation tax, and personal tax work
*
Client meetings, relationships, and proactive advice
Future growth: This role provides a genuine path to Associate Director, Director, and equity for the right person.
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive if you:

Have experience in accountancy practice

Are confident with Ltd company accounts and corporation tax
*
Have managed staff (or are ready to take that next step)

Enjoy working with people and building long-term client relationships
