About the Clinician's Workday
The clinician will provide comprehensive obstetric services through 12-hour night shifts from 8 PM to 8 AM, working 3-4 shifts per month at this high-volume birth center with upwards of 400 births monthly. Primary responsibilities include managing obstetric emergencies on Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, and mother-baby units while performing C-sections, vaginal deliveries, VBACs, ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and circumcisions for both low risk and high risk cases. The position requires maintaining continuous availability for obstetric emergencies with response within 30 minutes during call periods while utilizing the EPIC EMR system for documentation. Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology is required along with BLS, NRP, ATLS certifications and DEA Certificate with minimum 5 years experience.
