About the Company
At Cyber Guardian Consulting Group, we bring Fortune 100-caliber cybersecurity to small and medium-sized businesses. Since 2015, we've been building proactive, lightweight, and cost-effective solutions that meet and exceed modern security requirements. We're security-forward, AI-first, and obsessed with solving real problems for real clients. Headquartered in New York's Hudson Valley with offices in Hudson Yards and Brooklyn, we're now expanding to Newcastle upon Tyne—and looking for our first engineer on the ground to help us do it.

Ensure integrations meet security, performance, and reliability standards
Write clear documentation for integration logic, APIs, and data mappings
Monitor integrations and improve observability (logging, alerts, retries)
Help shape engineering culture and hiring as we build out the Newcastle team

Working knowledge of frontend programming (JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
Comfortable working with Excel
Experience with authentication methods such as OAuth 2.0, API keys, JWT
