Role:
In this role you will work as part of a team picking and assembling loads for delivery and collection, working from a picking list which requires attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
You will also load our vehicles and unload supplier vehicles, ensuring goods match the paperwork, carrying this out in a safe and efficient manner.
This role involves working with the team to safeguard stock from damage and loss, and managing stock rotation of products with a limited shelf life.
You will adhere to all company policies and procedures, making a positive contribution to the team, giving constructive input to help maintain the best customer service level possible.
Carrying out any reasonable request from the Management Team.
Shift pattern:
08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday & 08:00 to 12:00 Saturday (1 in 3 rota).
At times you will be required to work alternative shift patterns to meet the business needs.
Required skills:
Counterbalance forklift license is essential. Training for other FLT's will be given.
Experience in a builders' merchants environment is preferred.
