Job Description
3. Process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
4. Maintain up-to-date and accurate accounts payable records.
5. Prepare payment runs and ensure timely settlement of invoices.
6. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
7. Assist with month-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
8. Collaborate with internal departments to address invoice queries effectively.
9. Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks.
10. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company standards.
The Successful Applicant
A successful AP Clerk should have:
11. Experience in accounts payable or a similar role in accounting and finance.
12. A keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to work.
13. Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
14. Strong organisational and time-management skills.
15. An understanding of the property industry is desirable but not essential.
16. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
