Test systems engineer

Quest Global are seeking a highly skilled and experiencedTest Systems Engineer /Test Equipment (TE) Development Engineerto join one of our Aerospace and Defence project team based in Luton, UK.

Role Overview: The work will involve formalising the TE design for a Design Verification Test (DVT) system, based on an existing prototype test set-up, expanding and improving functionality of the system to meet test requirements and ensuring that each stage of the TE development process from Requirements through to Qualification is completed.

Candidates must have previous Test Systems / Test Equipment development experience, test system design for complex, high-reliability systems, including Commercial OFF The Shelf (COTS) / custom hardware and test software. Ideally, we are looking someone with previous experience in Radar TE development but candidates with experience of other aerospace/ defence applications, space, nuclear, automotive or transportation sectors will be considered.

Job Responsibilities

Will vary depending on level of experience but responsibilities may include:

Establish test requirements for verification / qualification of main equipment LRI.

Generate test plans & test documentation to undertake Design Verification testing.
