Support Worker – Ridgemoor
Full & Part-Time | £12.35 per Hour | Permanent
Shifts – 7:00am- 2:30pm(early), 2:00pm-9:30pm (late), 9:00pm-7:30am (night)

The Role
We’re looking for a kind and patient Support Worker to help individuals live life on their terms. You’ll assist with personal care, cooking, social activities, and health management, empowering residents with respect and encouragement.
What You’ll Do
1. Provide personalised care, respecting individual needs
2. Help with daily tasks like cooking, hygiene, and medication
3. Encourage involvement in hobbies, outings, and community life
4. Support residents in making choices and managing money
5. Work with the team to ensure a safe, supportive environment
6. Maintain clear records and follow safeguarding procedures
Who You Are
7. Compassionate, patient, and respectful
8. Experienced or willing to learn about supporting people with learning disabilities
9. A good communicator and team player
10. Reliable and committed to promoting independence
11. Willing to learn and develop your skills
Requirements
12. Level 2/3 Health or Social Care qualification (or working towards it)
13. Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and nights
14. Enhanced DBS check
15. Health and safety awareness (training provided)
