Hays are partnering with a globally respected professional services firm to recruit for an IT Procurement Manager to join their team in Belfast. This is a high-impact role where you’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, drive value, and shape the future of the technology supply chain.
Your new role
You will lead global sourcing and negotiation across IT and technology categories, serving as a procurement business partner to senior leaders. Responsibilities include:
1. Driving strategic sourcing initiatives andplex negotiations across global IT categories.
2. Aligning procurement strategies with broader business goals, including ESG and innovation.
3. Building and managing relationships with key suppliers to ensure performance and value delivery.
4. Providing category insights and market intelligence to support informed decision-making.
5. Collaborating with vendor management and risk teams to ensure lifecycle andpliance excellence.
6. Deputising for the Procurement Lead (IT) when required.
What you'll need to succeed
7. Proven experience in a procurement management role, ideally within a professional services or partnership environment.
8. Strong track record across IT categories.
9. Deep understanding of procurement best practices andmercial strategy.
10. Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills at senior levels.
11. Analytical, resilient, andfortable navigatingplexity and change.
12. MCIPS qualification is desirable but not essential.
