As our Decarbonisation Manager, you will drive innovative projects that reduce emissions across our housing portfolio while improving sustainability for our communities. Role: Decarbonisation Manager Pay: £49,163 Hours: Permanent, 35 hours, Monday to Friday, Location: Swansea - Hybrid Full UK driving license required We DO NOT offer sponsorship Closing Date: Tuesday 26th May 2026 at 23:59pm Interview Date: Wednesday 3rd June 2026 About the role As our Decarbonisation Manager, you will lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of decarbonisation projects, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organisational goals. Key responsibilities include: Developing and implementing effective decarbonisation strategies and action plans Leading complex projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget Acting as Retrofit Co‑ordinator and ensuring PAS compliance Managing contractors, consultants, procurement and budgets Assessing carbon emissions and identifying improvement opportunities Securing grant funding and producing reports for senior stakeholders Representing the organisation at sector forums and partnership meetings The Decarbonisation Manager will also support the organisation’s transition to low‑carbon operations, working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners; and demonstrate our core values of kindness, trust, innovation and accountability in everything you do. About you We are looking for a skilled and proactive Decarbonisation Manager with strong experience in sustainability, energy efficiency or the built environment. You will bring: Knowledge of decarbonisation technologies and retrofit approaches Excellent project management skills, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, and a strategic mindset. Experience managing budgets, procurement and contracts Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions Retrofit Co‑ordinator qualification (or willingness to achieve it) A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel As a Decarbonisation Manager, you’ll play a pivotal part in how we shape and deliver sustainable change.
