AWC Staff Services are looking for a National Grid Authorised Competent Person for work at Melksham Substation, alongside our client.
To apply for the role as Competent Person you must have: Competent Person & NSI 6 + 8, National Grid Authorised Person, HGS47 and Manual handling training. Responsibilities will include:
Managing access to live HV substation in accordance with NG NSI Safety Rules.
Ensuring safe access/egress of delivery vehicles & plant to the s/s.
Start: 23rd February 2026
Duration: 6 MonthsRate: £32 Per Hour, Paid CIS
