Project Manager – HVAC/R Navy – Basildon – DD - Service
What you will do:
The role will be working in the Global Marine & Navy Service Team based in Basildon, Essex, UK managing HVAC/R scopes of work on military vessels for Navy’s worldwide. You will lead service teams, manage client relationships, oversee shipyard HVAC operations, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

How you will do it:
11. Understanding and interpreting client’s technical specifications and commercial documentation.
12. Organizing any deliverable packages.
13. Produce technical and obsolescence documents & studies.
14. Consulting with service manager and requesting resourcing based on contract deliverables.
15. Obtaining quotes from suppliers and procurement of equipment
16. Organising of goods to be shipped and generation of all relevant shipping documentation.
17. Consulting with service team daily.
18. Managing the service contracts and technicians/project co-ordinators/apprentices.
19. Consulting directly with the customer and being the main point of contact.
20. Financial responsibility for projects / developing progress and financial reports for the Tyco/JCI management team; Revenue/Billing Forecasts, Managing Contract Cost Control (Cost to Complete Sheet), Attending internal contract review meetings monthly.
21. Ensuring that projects are brought to conclusion on time within budget and to the client’s satisfaction.
22. There will be some travel in the UK, but Overseas travel may be required from time to time.
What we look for
Essential
23. Experience in Project Management
24. Excellent communication skills - Consulting directly with the client and internal project team.
25. Experience in interpreting clients’ technical specifications
26. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
27. Full UK Diving License.
28. SC UK MOD Security clearance will be required, screening provided by JCI
Preferred
29. Project Management Qualification.
30. HNC/HND in Engineering (Engineering Background).
31. Experience in the Marine Industry
32. Experience with MoD contracts.
33. Experience in HVAC/Chilled Water Plant Industry – HVAC Role.
34. 3+ years in similar position
